About this Item:
8 Gallon Stainless Steel Container
Swiveling Four Casters Provide Ease of Movement
12' Power Cord with Cord Wrap Design
Powerful Motor Provides Maximum Power of Suction & Blowing
I bought this for one of the comparable past sales. Very happy with it. Moves easily, has a bag for all the attachments that you can hang on it. Good power. It's helped keep my little basement woodworking/metal working efforts clean.
Couldn't tell you how it compares to others, just that it's a good quality tool (based on my limited use) for a good sale price.
The price in-store is lower than the price online. I just picked one of these up for $69.99.

This might not be a bad thing. From what I gather reading reviews of other products, DeWalt vacuums seem to be a weak spot in their lineup
Anything with 6hp peak should be okay. more cfm and static pressure to pick up the heavier particles
Rigid makes the best shop vacs, go with any of those if I were you
It's made by Alton Industries—who make most of all Stanley Black & Decker shop vacs.
