I have that little 1qt pot and it's perfect for heating up a can of soup.

$280 is generous price of "full MSRP" for this set.

Both of these pieces can be had elsewhere pretty regularly for half of the $99.00 and often times less (I.e, see: TJ Maxx, Marshall's, HomeGoods and the nearly monthly sale(s) from Home and Cook Sales almost always posted here on SD's.

These pieces are small and fairly limited in cooking for more than two adults.

That said, they are certainly every bit All Clad and an aptly named set as "Kitchen Helper". 😂👍🏼

I second this. I have both these pans. I use the little pot to heat soup, sauce, or a single portion of leftovers. The pan is great for eggs.

Good quality pans... But my goodness that handle is terrible and hurts no matter how I grip it

You need to have your palm facing upwards with your thumb in the groove

Yeah... I tried todo that. It's fine when there's nothing in the pot... But once you fill up say 2 quarts, that weight starts to hurt due to the handle grooves.

You should be using two hands if you're lifting a pan

I have a dozen AC pots and pans, and I've never understood this comment about them.

The lack of lids is a problem. Increases heating time and prevents you from using them for something like rice or couscous. That said, their lids aren't too expensive (made in China) and are mostly standard. You just can't mix the different lines (like D3 and D5).
