For reference, I got a Flashpoint XPLOR 300 Pro TTL R2 Battery-Powered Monolight Bundle Direct Mount EZ Lock Softbox and Lightstand [https] for $400 last year and needed the
$69 transmitter [adorama.com] separately (slightly different model).

I've been learning on Yongnuo YN560s. Very temped to upgrade.

I could also get another AD 600 Pro.

Any input on building out my kit would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: It seems to be on backorder until 02/2024. A little less tempted now.

Is this for portrait of people up close? Or studio shooting? I'm mostly landscape, architect, and wildlife photographer. Will there be any use for me? Also I take this will probably require another person or tripod to put the flash on?

You answered your own question so probably no. This is mainly for studio and outdoor photography at most otherwise the sun is your best friend. Otherwise, great deal if you want to start getting into strobes. These can easily be handled by one person. But having a second helper is always best if you're on a time crunch and on the go with your gear.

Looks like they realized the mistake... I was almost deciding if I should pull the trigger consider the AD200 Pro is $300 on its own.

It was at $550 price since their black Friday deals started till Cyber Monday. The same sale price continued after Cyber Monday for a few days and they raised the price. The Single AD200pro is still $250 same as their black Friday/Cyber Monday price though.
