The thing is, though…I don't care? I am 47, had a vasectomy some 16+ years ago, so I am way outside of my "baby making" years. And if some IS trying to have a kid and struggling I'd assume they see a Dr, who would probably tell them to switch to loose cotton under garments.
I just placed an order, and I left it at default shipping, and in the summary field the shipping (to the right) was marked as free and the order total did not total in the $8.

I never quite understood why anyone would want to wear plastic AND pay so much for it.

Why do I like polyester underwear? They fit well, feel comfortable, and for me personally when I run 8+ miles in them my fiddlie-bits and nooks-and-crannies are all kept way more dry than when I wore cotton. If it's not for you, cool! Don't buy them. But like these forums are not really the place to discuss the ethics around modern day manufacturing.
