Highest actual price at Amazon was $730. At least over the last year or so. Most recently in the 500s. Hate this marketing/price manipulation BS.

Purchased this @ Amazon a few days ago for $568 and they will not price match it for me (item hasn't shipped yet but too late to cancel)

Re-purchasing and returning the first

I've had the K300 for five years. I think it was a newly released model when I got it...?

Pros: heated water, heated seat, remote and saved user preferences

Cons: Women in my life don't like the bidet part (but love the heated seat!), air filtering system has slowly lost functionality, drying is lackluster.

Overall, it's one of the best splurges/investments I've ever made. I have a ~$30 basic bidet installed elsewhere, and while that's preferable to no bidet, the Toto is leaps and bounds beyond comparison.

I installed the Costco Toto Washlet, I don't know the exact verison, but it has all of these settings except maybe the "unlimited warm water". However, I've never run out of warm water when using the bidet so I guess that's not a huge deal for me. The price at costco online is $350 ( sometimes minus $50 discount ) https://www.costco.com/toto-washl...73005.html

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank thewalt

We've had this bidet for almost 2 years now and love it. We paid $630 then, so $500 is a really good price. My wife especially likes the seat warmer during the winter. I love it because you need to use much less toilet paper.

About once a month I clean the plastic pre-filter with hand soap and detatch the seat itself to clean underneath it (one button unlock). I just discovered that there's _another_ filter in the back that also needs cleaning that's not mentioned as something that needs maintenance in the manual.

If you're on the fence, this is the one to get I think. As a cheaper one might not give you the experience everyone is on about, but a more expensive one is hard to justify (not that $500 is necessarily walking around money).

Pro tip: Costco tp is super dusty and clogs the filters. We've switched to target brand.

Does this open the lid automatically when you get close?
Doesn't seem like it have the auto open and close function.

Do you clean the small filter regularly? Ours gets clogged with toilet paper particle and needs to be cleaned weekly to remain effective.
We definitely have not done the maintenance weekly. I haven't looked into it in awhile, but will revisit it, give the filter more attention, and see if it improves.

What is the upgrade between this model and the TOTO SW3084#01 WASHLET C5 to justify the hundred-dollar price difference?

Continuous running hot water and slimmer/ more modern profile. Other than that, the features are basically the same

The S7A nozzle can flow up to 11/gal per minute??? That's a gallon of water every 5.5 seconds. Think about how long it would take you to dump out a gallon container of water (like a milk jug.) That's the kind of flow rate you're looking at with 11 gallons/minute.

Somehow I don't think that line is accurate.

But if it is… man, I've gotta reevaluate spending $1000+ on a bidet.
I have the S7A and can tell you it definitely does not flow 11 gallons a minute. 1.1 gallons is probably more accurate but even that seems high.

How does this compare to the cheaper one at Costco?
Costco one doesn't have instant water, no remote, not slim. I opted for the costco version because of the return policy and I have hard water so thought it fail/clog up eventually. I haven't had any problems though.

I purchased the Kohler Notiva last year and within 1 year or so the seat has fallen apart. I think our toilet bowl seat rim is too narrow and the footing of the seat doesnt always sit perfectly on the rim. As a person shifts to wipe, the seat can move to where the toilet seat footing will be off center a bit. This has resulted in the plastic cracking where the footing meets the seat.

Anybody have experience with this issue of a narrow toilet seat? Would this Toto reduce this problem?

For a comparison: here's a $12k trailer pressure washer that "only" does 8 gallons per minute

Things to note: 1) You need a dedicated circuit run for this model. 1430w 2) If you are running on a existing circuit as this pulls (especially for people with 15a bathroom circuits in many pre-2000's houses), you should instead go with TOTO WASHLET C5 , which only pulls up to 512 watts. Though it only has hot water up to 20~30 seconds, it is convenient not to run a dedicated circuit and allows you to wire off an existing outlet instead.

Would anyone recommend this or the Bio-bidet BB-2000?
I'm not sure of the exact models at my house, but the females say that the Toto has better jet position for cleaning the lady parts, than both the Bio and the Brondell. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Just bought the Discovery DLS for similar price. Anyone have experience with the DLS to compare to this one? Thanks!
