It's worth noting that it's UL 1278-tested and not UL 1278 certified. To be fair, even some mainstream manufacturers skip out on certification but space heaters that fail to protect properly are fire hazards.

I got the oscillating version of this and I like it a lot. I use the WiFi controls to make sure the room my hedgehog is in stays warm enough.

It's Remotely Control via App & Voice. So unfortunately you would use your phone, or Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, no physical remote control.

Does this unit actually come with a separate "remote" ?
Next to special features, it lists, "Remote control" but possibly they are just talking about controlling it remotely, rather than having a separate "remote".
I realize that I could get my phone out, and control it that way, but would rather have a separate controller.

I have it as well got it on the govee site for 22$ like a month ago. It's a great deal. Love the heater.

thank you, im not going crazy!! I thought I saw them for $22. I had four of these in my shopping cart from govee website and then I went back 2 days later and they were at a different price. I even wrote a message to support asking if they would bring that price back and they said it was never offered. 29 is still a good price but my deal hunting brain refuses to pay $1 more than 22 now. do you remember if that $22 price was refurbished or not? I thought not. I'm going to wait till at least after Christmas sales and see if it dips back down before I buy four of these.

It was new. I really needed a heater so I jumped seemed like a great deal. And it's a good heater. I set the temp I want on the app, works like a charm. It does have a setting I guess for safety that shuts down the heater after 24 hours if you don't interact with the app. I also like the led light it has on the bottom of mine. Nice little night light. Would I pay 50. No. But 30 yes I would.

great, thanks. on a side note, stay away from the Govee color bulbs. I guess i'm part of govee eco-system now as i bought the lights and plugs anticipating the heaters would eventually be bought. I like them all except the bulbs. they are many times inferior to Phillips Hue. yes, they are 1/4 the price but they just suck in many ways. 1% on Hue is like a candle while Govee still fills the room with light. Govee can do whites and red well, Blue a little bit too. But it's green is weak. they also don't seem to be able to continuously transition between colors. but maybe i just haven't found that setting yet.

I'm too much of a thermostat nazi to let my family have control of a device like this. They'd all have their rooms set to 85F 24/7.
