So my power went out last night and this morning my PC won't start, even though it was on a protector. HP proprietary PSU. Anyways, the PC is near EOL for gaming so I need to know if option A is acceptable or should I go with option B and wait for shipping? I picked up the last Cyberpower at the local walmart but havent opened it yet. Both cost $699 but the specs vary.

I wish pc gaming is a cheaper hobby than console…as $130 that I equally got for Xbox Series S at Walmart earlier today Frown

There's always the option to build a cheaper PC and just run at lower settings. You could do a budget build for $400, yes, more than an Xbox, but it's an entry point.
