Did you know that Snap On sued HF over the Daytona jack because it's made exactly the same as their 1k Snap On jacks? Google is free my friend. Btw they lost the lawsuit.
The two car jacks are near identical. Snap On are the Hermes mechanic tools.
To be more clear; the HF jack that compares to the Snap On is their "DAYTONA 3 Ton Low-Profile Super-Duty Floor Jack" (The other Daytona Jacks are not Snap On knock offs) and upon detailed investigation (meaning disassembly) they were found to have some differences. (the HF jack had some lower quality components esp around the seals).
And to be fare - Snap On lost the law suit because the Judge said the two jacks were in fact not the same.
I do have the HF super duty jack myself - no complaints.
Wow this is a killer deal. I've had a Daytona car jack since covid and YouTube'd/taught myself how to do oil changes and changed my breaks. Can't go wrong with Daytona car jack. That new purple is sick.
If you can get it for $139 that's a super deal. I think I got the car jack for $139 during Covid.

This is a great deal. It's just too damn bad that their warranty is completely worthless. Even if you buy the extended warranty, you get a one-time pass then repeat buying the warranty.
The 20 ton shop press is what finally made me realize enough is enough with HF. I used the press the first time on day 98. Leaked, had to use the purchased extended warranty coverage. Asked if I wanted to purchase again...nope. I'm not paying you every time your bottle jack seals leak. And sure enough, I haven't used it since and the brand new jack that never has been used is leaking already. I exited the game and won't look back. I'll pay $20-50 more elsewhere that will stand behind their products.

What about the 95$ Pittsburgh vs the $190 Daytona? I I briefly looked at the store models and they looked exactly the same minus the color.

I'm not sure, but the Pitt looks newly designed and looks more like the Daytona, the internals might be different. Was watching the garage YouTube guy and he said something that stuck with me. Buy the best once and you'll never have to buy it again.
I see all my local shops use Daytona on a daily bases. So I went with it and it was on sale.

Good motto, but there will always be a better one??? haha. Oh, when I was in store, employees dragged three faded Daytonas to the back. Guess someone just replaced them earlier?
I saw this Daytona deal last night. I believe the Long Reach expired a few hours ago for ITC. It's also bigger, heavier 20+ lbs, and PF rates the Husky jack stands higher than the Daytonas for 3T and 6T. But this is still a great deal!

Last year I started using airbag lifts (vevor.com) for quick work like tire rotations and oil changes. These are fantastic and quick to use if you have shop air. Always use a jack stand for safety.

I'd pick these beefy jackstands [harborfreight.com] with a 50% off discount

Even my Daytona is heavy af. Dragging it around my garage is a pain. As I get older I might need to a lighter aluminum one.
The husky are rated better and cheaper, but if you can get it for free. 🫡
