Was going to jump on this, but I read 4Cr14 stainless steel is inferior. I ended up going back to the Bereli deal on Kershaws from the weekend (still alive) and spent $20 on a Kershaw XL Cryo II with better 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (lots of good reviews from knife collectors, not many for the Filter model).

Wm showing out of stock for me.

This is a great knife, I've bought three (now four). Nothing super special but it's weighty and it feels good in the hand. Flicks open with some attitude too. It's not a "pocket" knife in my opinion, it's big-ish and heavy. But I always have one handy, i do like it a lot.

It's grey. I never knew the color was called backwash, gross.

i bought it when it was a slickdeal in 2020 for $9.50. super heavy, only use it for opening packages at home. the assisted opening is really good on this knife.

I second this, I have 3 as well from prior deals and they're my go to for something (that isn't food) that needs a blade. ScarletTest8822 summed up the knife perfectly: big and a little heavier than most knives, satisfying opening action, feels good. It's not as cheap as it used to be, but this is a good simple knife for basic tasks.

Good choice, this is the "Low end" of Kershaw knives. The better Kershaws are things like that Cyro, Leek, Scallion, or Chive. I would recommend always getting a Kershaw that has a designer's name on it otherwise they are just the "Low end" budget knives.

The Cryo is on sale for $20. WAY better knife and steel, for $3.50 more it's a no brainer.

I've been carrying this knife for a WHILE. love it, and its cheap enough that if i loose it for some reason I'm not crying...has held a great edge for over a year now.

This! I had a cryo already and used that deal to upgrade to the cryo 2 since its a bit bigger and i have larger hands. For 20 bucks its absolutely the best folding knife you can get.
