To further add context to Maccament's comment, if you travel with more than one child, having a separate bedroom and a kitchen becomes a no-brainer. The hotel equivalent then becomes much more expensive.

I used to use AIRBnb but when they say its XXX per night and then with all the fees it is 40% more I have pretty much given up on them. THis could be because local cities etc are taxing them in part but bottom line is if I can get a hotel room for less why go with AIRbnb?

Any chance I could double dip on savings by buying the target gift card at 10% off today and then buying airbnb gift card with that same target gift card?

Airbnb hosts put up very misleading pictures and when you show up there is literally nothing you can do. Nobody ever gives a true rating. It's always "this place is the most lovely place I have ever stayed. It is literally in a super sketch neighborhood and you feel lucky if nothing gets stolen

Compare costs based on square footage. Dollar per square foot ft, to make it apples to apples

Is there a limit to how many gift cards you can use for Airbnb? We need $3000, so we would buy 15 x $200 cards.
