The screen is top-notch. Really love the matte finish OLED, it's one of the best looking displays I've seen on a laptop.
And the 7840U is a great chip, draws very little power and this thing will last forever.
The speakers, however, are total garbage. That, plus the number pad squeezing the keyboard to one side, was a dealbreaker for me.
I really like centered keyboards on a laptop, but Lenovo is unfortunately including numpads on all but it's highest end 16" laptops, the Z16 and P16. Great if you're an accountant, bad if you're a coder.

#1 limited the battery max to the recommended ~80/85% using the Lenovo app to reduce degradation
#2 installed UXTU (https://amdaputuninguti
Do you think the RyzenAdj 43W approach is a benefit above #2 or similar results?

2. I personally think RyzenAdj is the better path. I tried UXTU but for some reason it didn't seem to set things as you would expect. I would confirm any changes with HWINFO64 to be sure things are actually getting set correctly and the behavior is as expected. I haven't played with going lower for battery conservation. As for 43W... if you have very long sustained workloads this is the way to go. The machine won't thermal throttle at 43W. For more burst like scenarios it isn't going to make much difference. The default settings are pretty good.
Make sure you also set --skin-temp-limit= to 43W or you will see the clock speeds gradually drop (not thermally).
