Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank The_Love_Spud

The lead story is this: this charger will support Programmable Power Supply (PPS) on both ports in dual port operation at 3.3V-16V @ 4.3A maximum which suggests it should support very close to 45W Super Fast Charging SFC 2.0 on both ports simultaneously. The PPS mode required for 45W SFC 2.0 is typically 3.3V-11V @ 5A but this is also at a very limited part of the charging cycle. Many 45W SFC 2.0 devices will max out around 9V in PPS and draw near the maximum current for perhaps 5-10 minutes of the charge cycle (for a battery that is fully drained).

This suggests that if you keep your battery even minimally charged you would otherwise get a large part of the Super Fast Charge experience from this device even in dual-port operation from both ports.

This charger is also noteworthy for supporting the 28V Power Delivery mode, but only in single port operation.

Good luck!
Jon

Does anyone know if this Amazon listing is trustworthy. The seller's name is: "SpigenTech" but the real Spigen is "SpigenInc".

That's really weird - they both have the same physical address listed

To take advantage of 100w or higher charging, one must have a cable that is rated as such. 🔌

Also, looks like the 5% off coupon is gone too.

I didn't purchase the charger. I personally don't own any devices which could leverage either the 28V Power Delivery mode or the higher wattage PPS functionality (in fact I only own one device that even has the ability to max out 25W in PPS charging).

I do watch these deals on the lookout for a device that might support dual/multiple port operation with two USB-C ports supporting 25W in PPS. This device can obviously meet that, but is clearly overkill for such an application which was also reflected in the price. I'd personally rather spend a few less bucks for a charger that meets my needs today than a few extra bucks for a charger that supports devices I might leverage in the future.

Good luck!
Jon
