Killer deal on a great laptop. I'm gonna keep holding out for the 4060 model though.

As someone who JUST bought and refunded this to the same seller for ~$1100, I will say this laptop is so good in so many ways. Killer for me was that there is only one USB-C port and it will only charge OR dock. Could not get it to do both, and that really complicates my work setup. If that one dumb port just worked properly…..also battery life was pretty bad.

OLD: You must not have bought the posted model... It has two type-C ports and either port can charge and dock at the same time.
EDIT: It looks like this eBay posting is for the Slim 7 ProX Model 14LAH7, as shown in the description. That is a much different machine than what the posting title has!

And how did you reach that false conclusion?
The model number mentioned in the eBay description is 83BV0002US and the Lenovo official spec sheet for it is that of Slim Pro 9' IRP8' which is also mentioned in title of the eBay listing: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/L...83BV0002US

That one line at the very end of the eBay description is a mistake. Slim 7 Prox X doesn't even come with an RTX 4050 to begin with.

About the warranty, I've asked BuyRefurbished, they said:
> The unit comes with 1 year warranty from Lenovo.

Although eBay provides a 2-year warranty from Allstate, some posts from reddit said Allstate may cancel your warranty before the due.

I am also concerned about whether this product applied Low Temperature Solder

I was just pointing out the discrepancy.. It would be great for the eBay seller to clarify which model they are selling by removing incorrect info.
Thanks for your research!

Got one. Thx for posting

Was hoping to spend $500 but these specs are worth it to have something super bright and should last me 5+ years of basic usage

Can this version of HDMI 2.1 reliably output 4K/120Hz?
many HDMI 2.1 laptops struggle to do it.

Is HDMI connected to 4050?

Also, I assume you can only charge it with 100W using a generic adapter?

I heard the pro 7 version was hinge brackets are screwed into plastic for the 2023 version. Is it different for the pro 9?

It was back in stock quickly (units 28-34), so I got it.

will answer my own questions:

14.5 inch DOES output 4K&120Hz over HDMI, but 16 inch DOES NOT (as weird as it sounds)
HDMI is connected to 4050.
It charges 100W PD 3.0 with generic adapters

also, countries like Australia, UK, Europe etc offer insane 64GB / 4070 configuration!
