You'll need to purchase a bluetooth transmitter to connect the two. Search "airplane jack to bluetooth" or "bluetooth transmitter" and these should work
Let's say you eat dinner at a restaurant. You put the spoon in your mouth and say wow this is good. Are you aware that spoon has been in so many mouths already? 😊

But on a serious note, I bought these QC II earbuds when it first came out and Best Buy was price matching Verizon's price mistake. I think I got these for $120 brand new. Had to return once already once and get a new replacement because only one earbud will work (usually left side) and the right side has no sound. Bose replaced it about 9 months ago but still having this issue once in a while. Sound quality is good but I still like the sound quality from the prior version. If the price goes down to $99, I will probably buy a second pair so that I can use it at the office.

That's why I usually carry my full size headphones on the plane, there's no other way to do it AFAIK. Also the noise cancelling is always better for me on my full size QC headphones than earbuds.
I have the previous gen of these and they're so comically huge (both the earbuds and the case), this will be a nice upgrade.
