Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

So this only works for laptops then? So let say you get it. You pay $35 for activation. Then you pay $10 a month and get to use up to 30gb of data on your laptop only correct? But say after 1 month or later on you want to not use the plan anymore. Can you not use it for a few months and then sign up again? Or you have to pay another $35 activation fee each time? So each time you cancel, then sign up again, you pay that activation fee?

It only makes sense if you want to have the 30gb hotspot to use on your laptop for a long time then? Also what are they exactly sending you to use this hotspot? It's not a sim card right? Whatever it is, how will you connect it to your laptop? Is it like one of those internet dongles that you connect to a usb a port which I assume it is?
No. Apparently, it works for any device per some reports since it's a "mobile Internet line". I can't verify that though since I don't have it. That's just what I've heard.

There was no activation fee when signing up by chat. SIM card works in a phone. T-Mobile Tuesdays is available. Connects to 5G and LTE.

Do people really need unlimited Hotspot these days? Just curious what and when people use it for.

Just signed up and this looks to be a great deal. $10 taxes included, no activation fee, T-Mobile Tuesday included and the rep said it should work on any device. In my welcome email, it's coming up as 5G 30gb.

+1. Rep told me it was an old plan that was no longer available.

Then asked about the MI10TI variant. He delayed, then said it wasn't available at the $10/30GB rate.

He said for the $10/mo, I could get 2 GB. (Haha.) Or the 30 GB was $40.

Wish I'd seen this deal when it posted. Coulda used it.
the Costco T-Mobile line had no problem pulling up the SOC for the plan.

I chatted with T-Force but the rep refused to waive the activation fee so I called the Costco T-Mobile number and was able to get the plan and the fee waived. They were not able to give me the hotspot device saying this plan did not qualify. This was for a new account with no phone lines.

Thanks to OP! Signed up using TMO chat without mentioning specific codes other than "$10/mo 30gb hotspot plan" rep also reimbursed activation fee to my account after charging (apparently something she said she had to charge, but got permission to reimburse).

I currently have tmobile postpaid voice line and hotspot ($5 for 500mb). I planned to jump ship to prepaid because it's much cheaper, but this hotspot plan seems very tempting.

If I were to cancel my phone line, what happens to my hotspot line? How would I verify my account with customer service or get the tmobile Tuesday perks without a voice line number?

Thanks. Ordered through this number. YMMV the CSR said there was a $25 free Costco cash card as part of the plan!
I did not ask about gift card, but I called via Costco and got the activation fee waived. Sim only.

I just signed up as well but the plan code is MI30TI (basic internet hotspot with taxes included). I skipped the hotspot device purchase and plan to use it in either my phone or one of my hotspot devices. This is quite the deal if they don't throttle it.

Just signed up by calling this number as a new customer. Even if you say "I don't have" one to the prompt asking for wireless number it'll send you to Activations who can't help new customers. I was put on hold for a second 15 minutes only to end up in Activations again but that agent was able to directly transfer me to Telesales in just a minute and without re-entering info.

Telesales agent was very helpful and only had to be on hold for a bit while she looked up MI30TI. The code includes a free hotspot with 24 month EIP but that requires an active phone line to do. I have an older T9 hotspot already and planning to buy a newer 5G one later and she was able to get past that and just order a SIM.
She asked what the data amount was (said 30gb) and if taxes were included/excluded (said included) and she found it and activated the line for me. Also waived the activation fee without me having to ask for it.

Just waiting now for SIM card in the mail, this will likely replace/suplement the Visible $15 line we use in our RV for mobile internet.
Thanks. On chat right now and just finished the new account process. I didn't have to mention a code. They mentioned it was a limited time deal but would not give me an expiration date.

They they then said it was 20 GB for $10/mo (autopay via debit) or $15 (via credit card). I corrected them and they agreed it was 30 GB for the same prices.

Then they said they could waive the activation fee if I get more than one line. I said that my friend referred me to this deal and said the activation was waived. They agreed to waive it.

Thanks OP.
