Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

Yes, did this earlier and they made me give them my member number. They waived activation too.
Did they cross-validate the Costco member name to your name or just needed a valid membership number?

Yep, you can usually just say your brother, uncle, etc is already inside and they won't give it a second thought. Of course, they're also legally required to allow access to the public for things like pharmacy or alcohol purchases in many states, as mentioned in the article below.

T-Mobile just offered me the 35 bucks back as a credit on my bill. Took forever to get the line via chat but I didn't even have to ask for the credit. YMMV

I don't even use the 40GB that comes with my plan. What do I do with this 30GB?
I'm gonna try using this in a hotspot device for wifi security cams on rental properties. Much cheaper than paying for traditional internet just to connect a few cameras.

Hoping that that I can find a hotspot device with decent range though.

Not for me. The guy who apparently was the manager, didn't know what it was. Took him 10 mins to find it, afterwards it was smooth sailing. Just license to establish identity.

US Mobile in on Verizon and to my knowledge Verizon has the best voice coverage.

Or just pay up to get the Kosher plan for unlimited talk and text for $7.5

So for a dual sim phone, can you find me a better deal for $17.5 for unlimited talk and text and 30 GB data? I don't think so..

Thanks for posting the deal. I signed up for the hotspot line today at the T-Mobile kiosk inside Costco. The $35 one-time activation fee was waived. The recurring monthly charge is $10 (which includes all taxes and fees). And I will receive a $25 Costco gift card in the mail in about 60 days. The only downside is that the monthly cost may go up in the future, i.e., it is not locked at $10 forever. However, since this is a month to month plan with no contract, I can drop anytime.

My total cost for the first year will be 12 months x $10 ($120 billed by T-Mobile) less the $25 Costco gift card for a total out of pocket cost of $95.
