Proprietary charger, or I'd be in. I've been looking for a relatively cheap trimmer for my travel kit so I can leave my better one at home. Reviews look pretty good.

Aside from this sale, does anyone know the reasoning behind this MSRP for $35 but the Multigroomer 3000 MSRP for $20? I mean sure this has the adjustable trimmer dial function but doesn't the Multigroomer provide more value (nose trimmer, precision trimmer)?

There is literally only one thing you should want in a trimmer blade. Ground blade (sharpened like a knife) as opposed to stamped blade (pressed from a sheet like a cookie cutter). And this ain't it.

What would be an example of a ground blade?

Dont put this thing anywhere near your coin purse. You have been warned. 3000 series is loud andcheap. Maybe buy one for a backup of the backup. Its a 3rd string player at best.

I have a multi groom 3000 I use it without guard to trim stubble before regular shaving my face and to shave head. Would this be similar results or upgrade?

Wahl, for example. Norelco used to have some but I'm not sure they still do. Just search for "ground blade beard trimmer".

A nicked bag stings like a bee and bleeds like a stuck pig.

I still have one bought in 2016 running strong w/o any issues. Wished it would die so I can get a new one but dream never came true.

WAHL advertises that the Groomsman uses precision ground blades but at the $17 price point I'm not sure. Thoughts?

Paid full price for one in 2018 and it still works. Have used it once a week or two since then with zero problems...and I've bought grooming clippers twice as expensive in the past.

At the "1" setting, it's close enough for a stubble look that is almost clean-shaven but not, which is what I prefer. During the cooler months, I grow out my beard and it's good for shaping it due to the smaller size.
