I was looking for a drive dock because we clone drives from time to time. This one met my M.2 + SATA need, but then realized it will offline clone from one drive to another. Lowest price it's been on Amazon, 47,000 reviews.

I can't tell if the M.2 interface supports SATA drives (B+M-keyed). The reviews and Q&A are a mess because they combine so many products on one page.
That's actually just the right amount! It mentions all the stuff it does, leaving no questions!

Does not look like it can clone to or from the USB-C which is a shame.

Sabrent has a couple more different versions for you to choose from:

$72 (sale): SABRENT [amazon.com] USB C Docking Station for M.2 PCIe/NVMe and SATA 2.5/3.5 Inch SSD & HDD with Offline Cloning (DS-UNHC)

$55 (sale): SABRENT [amazon.com] USB Type-C Lay Flat Docking Station for M.2 PCIe NVMe + SATA 2.5'"/3.5" SSD & HDD with Offline Clone Function [DS-UFNC]

Not Sabrent but I saw one that has a fan that blows up to cool the NVME:

GRAUGEAR [amazon.com] M.2 NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Docking Station with Fan

Bought their NVMe USB adapter recently and I'm disappointed. Their marketing material and user manuals are very cagey about the actual capabilities and information about what the product call handle. Ran into too many edge cases that made me SOL for buying their product. No more Sabrent.

The 4th picture shows "10Gbps" with arrows between the SATA connector and the M.2. SATA is 6Gbps. What's the point of 10Gbps transferring between SATA and M.2?
