They also have some other things that are significantly cheaper than normal (I noticed Grapefruit and a six bottle variety pack).
The water doesn't need to be made with a Sodastream device. Any carbonated water will work. The water doesn't need to be sparkling for that matter.
For those who are value conscious and looking at this thread, you may already be aware that besides the flavoring drops, the other notable expense is CO2. Sodastream really gets you there. There are devices out there that allow you to use a 5lb CO2 container with your Sodastream and/or refill Sodastream CO2 containers but I've never tried them.
My solution was to convert some of my beer making equipment to sparkling water. I keep a couple of 5 gallon corny kegs in my kegerator and carbonate with a 5lb. can of CO2. That way one can be carbonating while the other is being used. We always have a supply of cold carbonated water that way. I use 5ML pipettes to transfer the Bubly flavor of choice into a 1 liter bottle and move on with my day. It works great and has saved an enormous amount of money over time (we love flavored sparkling water and go through a lot in our house)
You can drop this in any seltzer water and will add flavor to it. I usually add 1 teaspoon to a liter bottle.
