Some nerve not only posting a deal with just 6 pieces available but also this is refurbished and not new. When you search this model 82SXX002US it shows up on the Lenovo outlet as refurbished for the same price: https://www.lenovo.com/us/outletu...g.com%252F
It says both new and refurbished. My guess is that it's a refurb.
It is listed as new in eBay store which means if you purchase it from the eBay store, Lenovo has to treat it as New Product for Warranty support. I have seen that too, it is being listed as refurb in Lenovo Outlet store but since this one is from eBay, I siomply listed eBay's mentioned product condition.
Now another thing to keep in mind, same model of laptop can be a refurbished and new. For example, Dell outlet sells a lot of new laptops as well.
If you look carefully in this eBay model vs the refurbished one listed in the Lenovo outlet, you'll see the difference in Warranty.
This model has One Year PremiumCare whereas the Outlet model has 1 Year Standard Depot Warranty which may be an indicator that some models of this laptops are refurbished and some are new.

Yes, I have plenty of nerves. If you have problem with that, well, get over it and do something to calm your nerves down. The deal is clearly listed by eBay as New and if you have a problem with that, take that to eBay, not me. I simply listed what eBay mentioned as the Product condition in the deal.

If you read the listing, it straight up says 'Refurbished.' I'm not sure why you're arguing something where anyone who can read can see that you're wrong.

eBay listing is clearly saying Product Condition as New. Also, same is mentioned under the About this Item Tab. I am not sure which listing you are referring. Lenovo itself selling a lot of Refurbished product from their eBay store and they are mentioned as certified Refurbished. I am not saying I am correct and you are worng. I have simply mentioned what is mentioned as eBay product Condition.

Condition: New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details. See all condition definitions

Lenovo simply made a mistake by listing the refurbished as New, this is evidenced by the model number. So, please do not further distribute the misleading information to waste people's time to buy and return. May I beg you not arguing anymore??

Did lenovo inform you that or you are just guessing? And the prodct model number / Part Number, 82SXX002US in this case, I hope you understand the simple fact that ther can be several items of that part number as that indicates a specific hardware configuration of that series, not a single machine...that's done by Serial number. Literally every Outlet sells same model or part numbers, some as refurbished and some as new. Go to Dell outlet and check.
However, main concern for your guess work is the Warranty of the product. Any eBay Certified Refrubished product is covered by the Allstate 2 Years USA warranty and that is decided by the product condition listing by the manufacturer. If Lenovo has listed this as new, whether by mistake or not, you won't be getting that and instead you'll get whatever manufacturer warranty lenovo is offering for the refurbished product.
Lenovo and eBay listing clearly saying that this comes with 1 year lenovo Premium care warranty which you see with new products, and it is different from the 1 year Depot warranty listed for the Refurbished product mentioned here from lenovo outlet. So, it would be better to get it checked from eBay or Lenovo Store in ebay before just guessing.

Yeah I'm not sure why you keep arguing this point .. it's clearly refurbished, mainly due to the price EXACTLY matching Lenovo's refurbished price. Not to mention clearly saying REFURBISHED in really big bold type on the listing itself. So literally all signs point to it being refurbished. It's not just a random "guess". I don't mind the original post because it does say New on Ebay due to a simple typo by Lenovo when listing (and Lenovo obviously uses template listings so when they accidentally put New, the warranty info for New populates in), but to double-down on it possibly being New in the thread is ridiculous. It's refurbished.

You still did not get the point and nowhere I am claiming this to be New, just saying it could be and I am sure you may not be aware of the fact that same model laptops are sold by outlets with Refurbished and New. Dell Outlet a lot of times sells exact same laptop model with exact same configuration, with one being a Grade A factory refurb whereas another being new.
And 2nd point is if the item is listed as New in eBay listing then you won't get the eBay refurbished 2 years warranty and instead, whatever lenovo is offering for its Refurb products.
And why are you guessing that eBay listing is worng, it could be the other way around as well? I have already sent an eBay message to Lenovo eBay store, asking for clarification. Once they respond back, will update here.

Because of the logical chances of the error. It's a much easier "error" to choose a "New" template over a "Used/Refurbished" one - one mouse click. Oops. It's a MUCH harder error to put in the wrong price and put in the wrong description which actually has to be typed out and manually edited.

- i7 12th gen - clearly a positive because after 3-4 years, it is much easier to flip i7 than i5 or AMD
- LPDDR5-4800 RAM - not a lot, but adequate for average user, also pretty fast memory.
- 1TB SSD
- 14" 2.8K (2880x1800) Touch Screen - a high priority for the laptop I am looking
- Sold directly by Lenovo instead of some shady ebay reseller
- The difference between ordering from ebay and directly from Lenovo is warranty: 1 year standard on Lenovo vs 1 year premium on ebay.
The only negative in my book is a last generation CPU (12th vs 13th).Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
