It's a nice cast iron griddle and will replace non-stick if you season it rightly. There are a number of youtube videos that show how to season it...just a 30 min thing and you are good to go.

Always remember to dry out cast iron utensils after washing by heating them up on the stove for about a minute or 2 on medium flame then followed by oiling it with a tsp of oil(any) with a paper towel on the top, bottom and handle.

Comes Pre-Seasoned with oil for a natural, easy-release finish (May not be good for kosher keeping consumers)
