Shows up as $74.99 for 12 months and you need to sign up for autopay to get an additional $69.99. The $50 one-time credit showed up after about a minute when choosing what internet to get. Location is SoCal.

I don't know how to add a screenshot:

This is 500 Mbps and not "500 Gig," right? lol.

I'm paying $49.99/month (no additional taxes and fees) for 10 Gbps fiber, but if I can get 50 times that for the same price, that'd be amazing.

Thanks for sharing anyway, even with the very minor typo,

Legit! Didn't know any company supporting 10 Gpbs fiber for such a low cost. Too bad it's not in my area. Nono

Spectrum are scumbags. Be prepared to see your bill double and triple after the promo and they'll refuse to lower the price no matter what. Stay away!!!

Plus constant outages, terrible equipment, and your bill doubling when the promo is over.

When I switched from T-Mobile, they offered to lower my bill in half. If they won't, switch to someone else and get their intro rate.

It's crazy the differences people experience. I had Spectrum from probably 8 years and besides raising my bill every few years, I never had any issues whatsoever. Service never went out and it was extremely consistent when I did a speed test. I used my own equipment so maybe that helped. Since the modem was free this time, I'm using that and it's been totally fine. So this is definitely a YMMV situation.

If only there were other providers in my area aside from dial up. All the ISP's are scum, they are lucky internet is a necessity or I would have cancelled a long time ago.

Wow that sucks. I feel like the introduction of 5G home internet has really increased the competition here. We went from DSL and cable ISPs to T-Mo and Verizon with 5G so now the prices are lower than they have been in a long time. I plan to just switch around to get the most savings.

It varies city by city down to the street level. Spectrum is great for me. No data caps, full speed as advertised, and almost no downtime. Just like most online reviews, satisfied customers rarely speak up. The comments calling Spectrum scum are true but what I said about my 20 years experience is also true. When it comes to underground cables, there is not much we customers can do. Pure luck of the draw. It costs so much money for the cable companies to dig up and replace old/defective and run new cables, plus the inconveniences to all the other residents/renters on the street that they rather "eff you" and lose you as a customer.

Just got Spectrum 500 Gbps, but will have to go back to Fios since uploads are only 18~20 Mbps and not great for video calls.
Spectrum is rolling out symmetrical in my STL area around crimmus.

Exactly
"Spectrum Internet 500 MBps Speed for 50$ permonth + 100$ Giftcard $50"
Should be, "Spectrum Internet 500 Mbps Speed for $50 per month + $100 Gift card = $50"
Make note that the $50 gift card is one and done.

Charter recently announced that subscriber growth was slowing. This did not take long to get rolled out to address that.

The comments regarding fiber are kind of silly - not sure anyone would choose copper based internet over fiber but fiber still isn't available in a lot of areas. Cost of capital and labor is not helping - fiber buildout is very expensive. Also, it doesn't help the providers that most residential fiber service is actually less expensive than cable based (they should be charging more).

This is a good deal - in the past, this rate level gets you 300 Mbps and only 12 month price lock before it goes up $20/month.

The 300 Mbps level has 10 Mbps upstream, would assume this 500 Mbps downstream deal bumps you to 20 Mbps upstream as well, which is a significant bump. (Yes, I'm aware it sucks compared to symmetrical fiber, but this isn't fiber). For normal use cases, 20 Mbps should be sufficient.

Obviously this is location dependent. I only have 300mbps for $49.99 for 12 months at mine.

And unfortunately they are our only internet option. I can't even get wireless internet like VZW or TMO.
