The discount is for Game Pass Ultimate. It shows up for me as I have GPU.

I played for about 15min until I had to do something else, just based on that it felt very unrefined, like a 360 game they pulled from the vault and barely optimized. But it is in GPU so I plan on playing it some more when I get the time.

Metacritic reviews pretty good, biggest complaint seems to be what I immediately noticed: https://www.metacritic.com/game/w...x-series-x
Reviews in the xbox store are generally very positive. I might grab it with the Comcast $15 credit.

I would grab this now while It's still at $8.99. Even though this game will end support( no new content etc) you will still be able to play the single player mode and co op online. Also I'm pretty sure it's one of those pricing mistakes because the standard and deluxe (karakuri) upgrade to the base game costs more than twice the money than just the add-on instead of the complete edition. It's one of those situations where it's non sensical to buy either the base game or the upgrade separately and they do a price adjustment after realizing the pricing makes no sense.

So I just bought this for around $22 and I felt it was a steal compared to everything else on the market (digitally). So... I haven't played it yet, but seeing this price blew me away. Again, 2 thumbs up on this price, I can't speak to the actual gameplay.

Even with GP I think this game is likely still dead online. Live service games only work during launch windows and have been the new MMO gold rush that companies chase and fail to capture because the kings were already crowned long ago.

I picked this up at a rummage sale 3 months back or so for $20 and frankly, I think that I got ripped off. For $8.99, it's a worthwhile buy for anyone that thinks it looks interesting but I wouldn't go in with high expectations. For me, it felt like a cheap Monster Hunter ripoff. I didn't enjoy much of the gameplay and the graphics were definitely on the lower end. I gave it up after a few hours and started up Hogwarts which was a much better experience.
