I have the S6 Tab lite. It's painfully slow and the lag is significant.

I purchased this tablet over Black Friday and just returned it today. The screen and build quality is decent but it's way slower than I thought it would be. Like almost as slow as my kids' fire 10 tablet. It takes a good 15 minutes on startup to have any responsiveness at all, and even just scrolling through Reddit lags.

Picked up the OLED Lenovo p11 pro for $300. Noticeably faster with the additional RAM and the OLED screen is night and day better

There's 2 different versions of the S6 Lite... a super slow one and the 2022 version that is OK

motorola web site also at 199. The lenovo is IPS screen w/120hz refresh with zippy Helio G99 cpu. Best to compare specs and then make a decision. for me, the 25.00 xtra was a no brainer. good luck

Perfect kids tablet or light use (web browsing, watching videos, not very bulky). Comes with S Pen. Supports Dex, cheap enough if the Kids break it, no issue. Plenty of rugged cases for it to kid protect it and has a Kids mode.

Faster than Fire tablet, promised samsung updates and security updates, also you can install LineageOS on it if you want to avoid samsung all together. Under $200 is fair price, MSRP is not real.

Thanks for the posting. It's a shame that amazon doesn't do price protection, I bought this a few weeks ago for $200, returning it now and ordering from B&H. The device itself is fine, it's not the fastest tablet on the planet but it has a decent screen and decent performance for the price.

I found it strange it doesn't support super fast charging, 15w max.

I had just bought a Galaxy Tab A8 for my son for Christmas for the same price, so I'm going to return that and go with this instead. Seems like a no-brainer. The old (2020) version is $219 on Woot refurbished which surprises me. I would have rather bought from somewhere other than B&H where I could return it locally for free if needed, but the only place was Best Buy and they refused the price match because it's a "coupon" price. This will make a nice upgrade from his Tab A Kids. Thanks OP!
