Are you using the Prime CC? I rarely get offered no-rush shipping credits too, but I saw someone mention elsewhere about changing your payment method.

I switched to a non-Prime CC and I was offered $3 no-rush credit instead of the 6%. I'd rather have a $3 credit than get a 5% (or 6%) reward on an $8 purchase!

I wondered if that was the case. You are right! Even when I placed in cart with one card and then changed it back to Amazon before placing the order it went back to 6%. Even worse... And a bad plan for Amazon, is that it's effectively only 1% because you already get 5% by using the card. It's not an additional 6. Because it ticks me off, I always pick the fastest ship if they aren't going to give me an incentive to do slower shipping. Even when I don't need it faster.
