It's not toxic to notice that our social elites play by a different set of rules, and that they know it, and that they can get away with it.
I think the best forgotten example of this is DNC elites such as Hillary or Barack mingling with Harvey Weinstein and taking his money despite certainly knowing his predilection for sexual coercion. These people love to lecture us about how toxic America is, and how the rest of us need to change, but are completely corrupt and degenerate behind the scenes in order to personally enrich themselves. Getting back to this author, it sure looks like more of the same. Narcissistic lectures about how us rubes need to embrace progress and vote D, while hanging out with pimps for the elite.
People are done with the Western left. Nobody likes them anymore. The party's over.

That said, I'm not sure that I agree with you that child predation is necessary to promote LGBT rights or whatever else you said. I'm not sure why the left thinks they must go hand in hand.
