This actually is the one to get since gold maples have a decent premium, 1-2%, over generic bars. It would be great to see them offer gold buffaloes or American eagles, but I will take one.

American Gold Eagle 1oz coin will always hold more value over any other gold 1oz coin. Ask any coin dealer and they will confirm.

Still getting it for under spot with rewards + rewards. You won't find these cheaper anywhere else paying with a credit card.

In USA, I assume American Gold Eagle will get higher premium. How about Canada Maple Leaf coin? Usually how much higher in US coin stores or online store?

FWIW it's not false information, They've been averaging ~ $35 over spot recently.

In the us. AGE can get over spot when sold. I can usually get 30-50 over spot on current year age.

Maples are usually spot maybe 10-20 above. Just depends. I know Canada they pay a premium. Card maybe adds a few bucks as well.
