I saw this pop up as a lightning deal yesterday and pulled the trigger. Sub $2k is great for this. If you plan to replace a TV in a well lit room, you might consider the 3500 which is more but with much more lumens. Mine is going into basement where I can control the lighting so this is more than perfect.
