anyone had experience with this brand? first time buying for me. how good is this?
Hit or miss. I have a pair from Khols that's actually really comfortable and initially looked great. But, they've worn really badly for the limited use.
They're cheap shoes - go in w/ that mindset and you'll get a solid, albeit limited, use out of them.

I bought Bushwacker Slip On Boot last year from Macy's. It is surprisingly comfortable, more so than other name brands walking shoes I have. It was the same price but shipped free. With $12 shipping in this post, I pass.
I like the leather nunn bush shoes I picked up from a shoestore clearance sale. I replaced the inner soles pad once, and I'm almost worn through the treading... 7 years later...
Haven't bought any before, but I can tell you Nordstrom Rack sells them, if that gives you any sort of idea.
Yep, tried them couple times whenever I'm at Nordstrom. Looks good but quality is lacking, these are also very slippery, at least the couples I tried at Nordstrom.
No experience with this brand, but I looked at some of the shoe offerings. It seems like genuine leather is the best leather they use. Full grain leather is the highest end for leather. With genuine leather, you're getting leather leftovers some of which can have a lot of processing. The site also didn't mention the welt used, which tells me that you trash these shoes once the tread goes rather than resoling them. For $40, they're probably fine. Just don't expect Frye or Thursday Boots quality.
We shouldn't expect $28 clearance boots to be the same quality as $500 boots. Amazing insight, thank you!

I agree. Shipping was $12 (so half the price of the shoe). No thanks.
