2 of the 4 I had got were cracked and they smell like burning plastics after a month of use with plasmawave

Great purifier - good air delivery for cost of this unit - easy to clean the filters to extend life - WiFi for those who like to monitor via mobile app - this unit for the cadr should cost $105 at its lowest value when compared to other higher end units at their low sale price - this is the new average baseline price for this unit refurbished on Woot

Maybe bad luck, but got one on the last sale that ended up having flashing light/stopped spinning issue after a few hours runtime. Fortunately the return was easy. In the past I had pretty good luck on refurbs, but over the years I feel like it's a 50/50 chance it has some underlying issue. Assume QA is not as rigorous with many manufacturers as it used to be.

Have 3 of these from Costco. Never ever a Winix again. 2 of them make an annoying humming noise. Can't even leave them on auto or turn the fan speed to 2.

I have 4 of these. 2 are refurbs. The refurbs function fine but are noticeably louder than the two I bought new.

I don't have any issues with mine. Return yours if you don't like them. Costco will take them back regardless of age.
