I have 4k max and it's hands down better.
I have all of them. last 4k max, this years 4k max. They are garbage with a garbage UI. You must love ads everywhere in your face from Jeffy B.

I can't stand the fire devices, but to the person above asking which one, the new max is hands down the better hardware. Software I like Google, but again, all three of mine have issues with DV.

Yeah, Fire Sticks have gotten worse. I've used two regular FTV 4K's over the past 3 years and more and more ads have been added...and now there are ads appearing BEFORE you even get to the home screen. That did it for me...we've switched over to Chromecast GTV (HD) on one TV and I'm pretty happy with it. Gonna switch over our other TV to a CCwGTV I just picked up cheap then trade in those FTVs for Amazon credit.
