This was a very solid port to the Switch. Played on PC and the Switch, both experiences were on par with the other (in terms of gameplay).

I beat this on Switch. It's a great game, but the loading screens are quite long. Sadly this ip is dead most likely, because the dev team died a few months ago. The dev team bet too much money on a god awful Saint's Row game.

I haven't played the one you're talking about, but played a couple of the previous Saints Rows games and would take those over GTA all day every day personally.

Apparently it's a casualty of a failed merger with a Saudi gaming company that happened earlier this year. I guess Volition's parent company Embracer lost big on that deal not going through and had to cur stuff and restructure.

Volition used to be Parallax apparently- maker of Descent. I used to love those games back in the day.

It was the Saint's Row reboot being a huge broken flop, after they released another flop(Agents of Mayhem) 6 years ago, and their parent company losing out on a huge contract.

Also, the loss of the Saints Row 2 PC port being fixed saddens me.
