I could get hands on one in good condition at 23 miles away. Prepaid to have it on hold. Will go check that out tomorrow to see if it's good enough. My wife would kill me though..

How many hours???
Don't know. Counter seemed to reset back to zero when I set everything up. I will probably just get the Geek Squad thing just to be safe at the end of the return period.

Does it have a box and other accessories like remote and back plate covers?

Might be able to secure one myself but need to check first if is worth it yo go to?

Mine had everything except the stand. Purchased Good Condition. Not sure if it's a floor model, but I hung it on the wall and it's in perfect condition otherwise.

If there's no stand the only place they can put it is on the wall which likely means it's been turned and left on

Is there anyway to check how many hours that TV has been ON?
You have to get into the service menu

For the one in Fairlakes VA but returned it immediately as it got intermittent flickering in the screen. Don't want to risk it plus for the price thought that the S95c 65 inch is better for just 300 more.

And if you add warranty, it will be just be 100-150 more. And you'll get the 2nd gen qd OLED on the s95c

As an owner of this TV since it released, you cannot really clean the screen. I wouldn't buy an open box of these new QD-OLED panels as I'm sure it was not handled properly and is likely to have a bunch of handprints all over the panel. If you try to clean them off even without any chemicals, the panel turns to a purple hue.

Agree, the one I got from fair lakes has all these markings on the screen.

Most probably it is the antiglare coating rubbing off

I cancelled my order in Melbourne, FL, if anyone wants it. I went to my local best buy (Vero Beach), and wasn't impressed with the Open Box TVs. They were all out of the box, smudges, etc.

I tried calling the Melbourne store but I had to talk to Best Buy Corporate first. They opened a ticket, but I haven't heard back.

Those, and the fact that the s90c 65" can be had new at a similar price, made me decide not to take the drive/risk.

The most I spent for a TV was $2699 for a LG C2 83 inch. I just bought a new house and wanted to make a large purchase (which this was for me) that hopefully will at least last me for the next 6 to 7 years.

Congratulations on your new home and purchase! Very similar story on my end, I just purchased my first home two months ago and just pulled trig on the 83" LG C2 $2249 deal that dropped at local outlets as my largest tv purchase to date. looking forward to delivery and installation!

I cancelled my order from maplewood store in MN. Any interested party can go grab it. I had worst experience with open box at BB. Last yr I went to check on a Sony 77" and they do not have anything except the tv. No stand too. Which I believe was a floor model. Wouldn't risk driving and I wouldn't bet on open box/ refurbished OLEDs

I picked one up today and like others mentioned, no stand, and it was clearly a floor model. That said, I opted to keep it because the picture quality is just that good. Been in the market for 65 inch for quite some time and this blows the C3 out of the water in terms of sheer brightness and color.

Unfortunately, there were nearly 9000(!!!) hours on the panel, and there was significant burn in on it. But I bought the five year protection plan so let's see if they'll replace the panel. If not, I have until mid January to return it. I've had success with floor display OLEDs in the past where they replaced the panel, so I'm hopeful.

Just use distilled water and clean microfiber cloth, the type you'd use to clean eyeglasses or a camera lens. Works fine
