They are GPS based, it will work, if there isn't 5G available it will go to 4G, but Verizon has started sending out termination of service letters to people who have done that so I wouldn't.

was one of the first in my area to get fios years ago. loved it, then verizon sold to frontier ... hated it and dropped them. wish verizon was not forced to sell off some areas.

Verizon, you continue to have one of the most broken websites even after all of these years. The fios availability page says all of the emails I put in are "invalid".

It will not be coming to your area. As a tech for Verizon I can say for sure that they have stopped expanding their fiber network. They are fully committed now to 5g

Do they need SSN for signup? Any hard inquiry- also wat can verizon card be used for-and are taxes included in charges or taxes extra- asking as a non verizon customer- 10 autopay = so home service is 80-10 = 70 right?

Just curious where you have seen the TOS letters for being in a different location than service address. I'm in some groups that discuss cellular internet and have heard that as long as it's activated in the permanent location you should be fine. I haven't heard of TOS letters being sent yet.

The language on their website is confusing and contradictory, but, it is merely a soft pull of credit. The rate is all inclusive, so your math is correct.

like DSL from Clink, they didn't recognize my address so I sorted it out over chat. Since I helped my neighbor install hers. Really happy with the service and speed compared to DSL.. The app is pretty good too, had some problems with the account phone number, I don't have phone plan.

I can confirm that the redemption process can be a pain. I had to make a handful of calls to get the Xbox sent out, as there was a hiccup with the redemption email. Some have had issues with gift card redemption in particular. My redemption went through okay, but I'm waiting for the actual e-gift card to show up in my inbox. My advice, screenshot the hell out of everything, with time stamps. Customer service sure seems content to drag their feet to resolve redemption issues.

All that said, so far the 5g plus speeds I'm pulling down are impressive.. and the latency has proved to surprise me even more. But, ymmv.

Another bit of advice, don't use their app for the purpose of ordering service, or making purchases. They have cleverly blocked the ability to screenshot their app, nor can you directly print from it.
