I am not an audiophile but do appreciate clean sound. I was impressed by what the Q30 can do. I found the highs to be to sharp (earpiercing at times) and strong but controllable bass. But the large number of EQ presets and custom EQ options help dial down the sound to your liking. The out of box sound is better than on Q35, but I should do more A/B comparison with these.

Just picked up two Space Q45's at Ross yesterday for $55 each. Its worth taking a look to see if your nearest Ross may have them.

Genius! It took going to 3 stores, but I scored one! Repped for the great tip.

I also saw the Life Tune model (which is apparently the Walmart version of the Q30) for $45.
