I am not an audiophile but do appreciate clean sound. I was impressed by what the Q30 can do. I found the highs to be to sharp (earpiercing at times) and strong but controllable bass. But the large number of EQ presets and custom EQ options help dial down the sound to your liking. The out of box sound is better than on Q35, but I should do more A/B comparison with these.
