I love it though, great size for productivity, the screen gorgeous, and the only issue I have with grainy text is on those software prompt windows that look like they're from Windows 95. Everything else is crystal clear. The keyboard, track pad, and touch screen are all top tier. Intel has really turned around this Arc GPU as well, you're getting roughly mobile 3050 and beyond performance, but because it was so buggy to start, you're reaping the rewards for a steeper discount.
My pro tips for OLED laptops like this: download a dark theme extension through your web browser (I use Firefox) and enable the dark theme in windows. It nearly doubles my battery life and reduces burn in risk. I also just prefer it. I keep it at the lowest brightness most of the time and it's perfect. The max brightness is BRIGHT. This is what a flagship laptop should be.
My only gripe is that I wish it was 32GB of RAM and maybe DDR5, but the installed RAM will be perfectly acceptable for the life of the laptop. And you're stuck with it because it's soldered to the board.

You may have access to advanced scaling settings to address this issue. I do wonder what the drivers for Intel's new graphics adapter support.
Good luck!

I keep watching these deals and repeating to myself that I'm just fine for now...
Good luck!

In general this is a beast-mode productivity machine with capabilities for a lot, but not too much, more.
Good luck!

More system RAM and you're doing video editing. Drop the OLED and switch to integrated graphics and you'd have a killer mobility PC. Higher refresh display and more GPU RAM and you've got gaming (as it stands there is some case that this is a reasonable not 4k gaming PC).
Then again, at under $1k and being this pretty...
Good luck!

I'll definitely keep Spectre's in my field of view.
