Sure, let me know when 12TB SSDs are anywhere need this price. For people who need a lot of storage, spinning disks are still the only affordable option

The cheapest 8tb Samsung qvo SSD was on sale for 300 one time. I know you're being stupid but for servers ssd are still way more expensive.

we need a healthy third vendor in the HDD space so Seagate and WD don't completely monopolize prices..and I know many folks have complained about warranty process for both of the above-but let me share my recent experience with Toshiba. Warranty contact if a nightmare to find, almost appears to be by design. once you do locate the proper contact (retail/partner/consumer/enterprise, etc, each is different), good luck getting a response, and there is no other contact listed. 4 business days later and still no response for enterprise sata drive, only contact is [email protected]
maybe it's exos or ultrastar next time for me
