With ARC you can hook up to a TV/PC and a soundbar will (generally) work seamlessly with the volume control on the TV/Remote, you don't need to do anything differently than you're already doing. It's just a more convenient way of interacting with your TV and a soundbar.

Huh? I'm seeing free shipping when I looked.

BTW, this is a great little sound bar I bought one on Cyber Monday for the same price. I'm using it with my computer, and it sits perfectly below my monitor. I'm not a die-hard gamer, but when I play games, it definitely sounds great along with music.

Forgot one important point, the TV must also support arc for this feature to work correctly.

Yeah it would be nice to have.

Exactly. It controls the volume and shuts off the power with the TV remote so no need for 2 remotes.

I find it difficult to understand why anyone would want to use two separate remotes when you could just buy anything with hdmi arc. There are obviously some use cases, but its a deal breaker for me.
