Yeah because once Best Buy stops selling games next year, Amazon's got one less competitor to worry about. And with less competition, less reasons for them to lead with sales.

Best buy is going to continue selling physical games for now. That announcement was in regards to tv and movies
Not really, the game has been out over a year. This is typical for as long as I can remember. Only crazy people buy these games at $70 when they first release.

Very much so, what happens when these other retails close or stop carrying games and movies. Prices go up
That's the same with anything. Amazon doesn't have a monopoly on video games. You can get them through Walmart, Target, all the QVC/HSN deals, gamestop, eBay, the playstation store, or even local classifieds. Just because best buy is not carrying the games anymore doesn't mean it is the end of video game sales. It's true that Amazon doesn't have their own sales and they never have but even if they have it full price, just don't buy it there. I just don't understand why the world crumbles because Amazon matched someone. There is more than competition that affects price of a game. Super Smash Bros came out 5 years ago, but it goes on sale for half off and it hits front page today.

They just lower to match others. Rarely do they have their own solid sale prices.
