That pack is rated totally different than the one OP has posted
I think I read that is way over kill, and I think there's even a recommendation on the packaging stating up to 90 days is sufficient.
When I looked into it, most people said in this kind of circumstance (i.e. when renting a place), to just buy the cheapest filters if it really is expected they be changed monthly.

The FPR 10 version (black in color) is just a couple bucks more. If you have babies / children / pets at home that seems to be the way to go. Also make the deal sweeter with subscription. Savings of 5%.
Thanks!

Different quality filters last for different lengths of time. Most people renting are not going to put in higher dollar long lasting filters when the cheap fiberglass are available unless they have health concerns etc.

The filter material on the 3M might be 4x as much if stretched out.
Thanks.
I just so happened to have 4-5 merv 12 or merv 13 filters laying around. Which should more than tide me over for a full year.
Didn't want to have to buy any more, just to change them out every month, especially if not really necessary.

Fortunately no.
I think it's just something that is written into the lease, that they haven't yet asked me about (I've been there just over 3 months).
