Why couldn't you get 5G HI? Doesn't require changing any wiring. It's all wireless.

In the last 10 years I've lived in 8 apartments - each has only allowed one internet provider and it's either been Comcast (DMV), Optimum (Missouri) or Spectrum (LA). Maybe one day I'll get lucky and move somewhere with fiber (or at least multiple provider options). Great deal though for those who can grab it!

Good deal if this is what you're in the market for. "5G Home Plus | $80/mo Up to 300Mbps download | Typical speeds of 85 - 250 Mbps | Upload speeds of 10 - 20 Mbps." That would be good for streaming. Not great for online multiplayer gaming, but might be OK for one device at a time. In my area for the same price, I can get 1 GB up/down fiber via Ziply or Comcast. The Xbox and gift cards are great add-ons if this is the type of internet service that best fits your needs, but I wouldn't let the add-ons be the deciding factor with this service if you have faster options available.

Yes you can, or at least my kids do. There are 2 ethernet ports on the unit and I've shut off the radio within the verizon unit and run ethernet to my mesh. Both CPUs as well as xboxs are all hardwired. No issues. I does fluctuate, usually between 19 and 35. But for me, the adult who doesn't game, I'm saving $65 a month over spectrum. And my kids don't pay my bills, but they don't really complain either, they say very little if any issues.

Dude that's plenty of bandwidth. My main line here is only 75mbps and 5mbps up and I have no trouble running entire house on that. Latency is the killer with online gaming not bandwidth.

These are NOT good for gaming. Connection is semi stable at best.

Good for email and general browsing but if your gaming expect to lag.

Anyone know if the series x will be active for FiOS home Internet at the same time? It's currently a series s, $200 amz gc, $100 Verizon gc and some other bundle. It's tempting and this deal also ends on the 13th. I wouldn't mind an x though.

Important, if I'm reading this correctly (?), note that $45/month is the discounted rate only for Verizon 5G postpaid customers (cellular mobile service). Everyone else is $70 or 80/month (dependent on autopay). Also YMMV for service address availability. https://www.verizon.com/home/internet/5g/

Sadly says 5g home not available at my address but lte is.. I would of jumped on it for 180 days for the add-ons
