Why couldn't you get 5G HI? Doesn't require changing any wiring. It's all wireless.

In the last 10 years I've lived in 8 apartments - each has only allowed one internet provider and it's either been Comcast (DMV), Optimum (Missouri) or Spectrum (LA). Maybe one day I'll get lucky and move somewhere with fiber (or at least multiple provider options). Great deal though for those who can grab it!

My internet service was activated December 14, so I assume I can cancel in June after the 6th month bill

For those who wants to make a payment with there Verizon Gift Card, here are the steps I had to go through:
0. YOU MUST HAVE A BALANCE DUE!
1. Sign in and go to Account > Bill > Pay bill
2. Click on "More payment options"
3. Select a future payment arrangement
4. Now gift card should be an option, it will ask you to enter your gift card information and check the balance.
5. Click continue and enter the amount you want to apply (amount can not exceed balance owe).
6. Submit payment.

FYI. Steps all off memory. It should be close enough for someone to replicate.

What is weird is that if you go to Add a payment method, Gift card is now an option you can add (It was not an option before)

I cancelled 181 days after account activation. I confirmed with customer service that I would not be charged before cancelling. I'm waiting for the final bill in the mail, but since I cancelled on the last day of my billing cycle. I'm not expecting one.

As a late follow-up, I finally got paid out $75 from a cashback website which I turned into $78.75 virtual VISA gift card so this deal turned out to be VERY sweet in the end!
