It is rare to find 8GB DDR and a decent processor at this price.

3x the CPU speed, better specs and already runs windows for 229. Certified refurb.

CpuBenchmark Passmarks:
- All threads: 3208 (Yikes!)
- Single thread: 1908 (Sorta decent... for today's apps.)
Combine that with eMMC storage snail-pace?! Fuggedaboudit. For those needing a laptop right now for most basic needs, at minimal price, and who still think 2-in-1's have a wow factor, this will do (for now). However, even running ChromeOS, this laptop's usefulness may not outlast its 2yr warranty.
I don't think this is a good value.
In for one as my old Acer 311 with 4gb and a Celeron is quite long in the tooth.

Acer Aspire 14" 8gb ram Windows 11 10hrs batt life,i3-N305, Certified Refurbished, Direct from Acer, $229
THe I3-N305 beats this CPU on Passmark by about 3x as fast and has windows(if that's what you want).
Someone posted the big brother but the 14" is about $40cheaper.

Little disappointed in the packaging. Brown box, bubble wrap, power adapter.
The device itself looks new, Pretty impressive so far. Got Linux apps setup to run in chrome os, pretty easily Installed WINE, GIMP, a few other small linux apps. So far, seems very snappy and responsive. Both ChromeOS apps and the linux apps.
Oh also i had to go through a few chromeOS updates and after everytihng applied this officially supports and installed Chrome PLUS. Which is the one thing i wanted to be sure about.
I think i'm going to keep it. Especially at $215 after tax/shipping/discount If you're looking for a well spec'd crhomebook, that is Chromebook Plus compliant, and well built with touch screen. look no further.
