Truth. Still American made and they sell rechargeable battery conversions to 18650s for some, like the 2C models

My family was sold on them when we found one in the ocean once with barnacles on it. Turned the head and it came on. We didn't buy another brand for about 15 years after that. But, yes agree that they have not kept up with significant LED, battery, and output advancements.

Quite honestly, I'm surprised they're still in business, as they have refused to adapt to LED technology and haven't changed their product line in almost 15 years.

You don't buy a mag to have a flashlight. You buy a mag to have plausible deniability that it was a weapon on the side of the road.

I switched the bulbs to LED and not as bright as others, but the D cells still can serve as a club.

Huh? Please go on
it doubled as protection. I used to have a 3 D-battery maglite. It was a good foot long and made of metal, left it the cupholder on the door.

Supposedly they sued anyone who tried to make an aluminum tube flashlight due to copyright infringement LMAO

The other person said all good suggestions. I'd also throw Wurkkos in the mix.
