Better and bigger and cheaper than McD's rinky dink cheeseburgers
I'd rather have Sonic's onion rings. Or their new pickle fries. McD fries arent what they used to be IMO. Add a 44oz cherry limeade and oh mama
Sonic sunrise with tequila is the gentleman's breakfast

Cherry limeade with orange juice and alcohol. A delight.

Ah these are their smaller value style double cheeseburgers that are normally $2.99 or so. Not the double sonic burger. I'm not sure why, but these cheap ones don't taste at all like the Sonic Burgers to me.
Same here. Tried these recently thinking I'd save some money by adding lettuce/tomato/onion. They taste completely different from the regular #1. Not good.

And bun and fixin's and it's cooked for you. Have you been to a grocery store lately? Even 80/20 I won't buy because the price is so high. I've returned hot dogs to the fridge case because I refuse to spend $3 on the buns.
Sonic is mostly soy protein not beef. 🤢

Most stuff isn't FP-worthy...SlickDeals is probably paid by these companies to promote the deals, sadly.
SD is not paid by Sonic. It's FP based on the thumbs up only. If one happens to want a sonic cheeseburger today it's a good deal for them. It's simply a money saver.

My local sonic has Tuesday nights half off cheeseburgers. ($2 for a $2.99 item versus $2.75 for a $5.49 cheeseburgers). Which would be a better value....I am not a regular Sonic eater.

1/2 off only appears to be valid on their single, 1/4# patty cheese burgers

I just got one. These aren't double quarter pound hamburgers - they are 2oz patties stacked (kids meal)

They didn't claim double quarter pound (aka half pound). It's a quarter pound double (aka two slice of cheese) burger. And that quarter pound of beef is before cooked

That's exactly what every quarter pound double cheeseburger is. They don't claim it's a double quarter pound burger, and you won't find one of those for $2 very often anymore. Not a kids meal size, at least not most kids meals I've seen.

Source? I don't doubt that there is some soy in there, but if it were "mostly" soy people would be outraged. Remember the Taco Bell fiasco a few years ago?

Edit: I checked, and neither size of their burger patties contain soy or any other common allergens, according to their allergen guide. Lying about that could get them in real hot water, so I would trust what they say in this case.

I admit I don't eat out as much as I used to and prices are higher with labor costs. Still can't believe the cheapest burrito at Chipotle is $8.95. But these burgers were small. Much smaller than I was thinking based on the $3.69 original price. Seemed to be worth the $2.00 I paid.

The McDouble at McDonald's, the crumbiest double cheeseburger there is, goes for $3.69 in some markets now. I think I've seen $3.39 here. The little Wendy's DoubleStack, which was $0.99 when it was introduced, is $3.69 here. That sucks, and I hate this phrase, but it is what it is.

McDonalds does have that 'buy one, get one for $1' pricing that could be used on the McDouble.

How does this work? I put the app on my IPad, make the order, how Do they know what my order is at the drive up? 🤔

It's easier if you download the app on ur phone. After creating account, order then drive there. Keep the app open and when you arrive, just enter the stall # and they take it to you.

Or if they've got a drive-thru window, pull up to the speaker and let them know you're picking up a mobile order, and they'll tell you to pull forward to the window.

You can go through the drive thru and tell them you are picking up a mobile order and give your name. Or you can park at one of the stalls and push the red button and tell them.

It's easier if you order thru the app on your phone and hit "check in" when you arrive. It will ask you to enter the stall # you are parked at then someone will bring your food out when its ready.
