I've been using the oxo brewer nearly daily for over 10 yrs. No issues.

Bought one a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Takes a little to get used to how to use it but when you hone it in, it's great. Needs a portafilter and tamper.

i bought one last month, takes a few tries to dial it in. people have been complaining that the boiler flakes off pieces of coating/metal...but i haven't had the issue yet. i've already updgraded the portafilter to bottomless, silicone gasket, shower screen, nano basket. i'll keep it for a while
