These $30 ones are good alternatives for those with more modest requirements. I prefer non-rechargable ones as I always have batteries lying around, so steer clear if that's a deal breaker for you.

I can vouch for the G305 as a great mouse, even for hardcore gamers. Great sensor, fairly light, and very similar shape to the old-school logitech optical I've loved since Counter-Strike 1.0.
