From what I've seen drive-through traffic is down a lot compared to prior years.

And the fact Starbucks keeps offering 50%-off deals — right now one's valid every week until the end of the year — tells me they have volume issues.

I asked why the whole BS song and dance and he didn't know (but of course). So over 3 hours later we finally got to the bottom, and 2 days later before the charges dropped off as pending. SOOOO the most recent same deal as with this one I said oh NO, I am NOT doing this again! vomit I like SB but not their fiasco and the HA!

Sorry that happened to you but your situation is obviously in the minority. I've never had one issue with these promos and it looks like 99% here on this thread haven't had any problems either.

Not your fault, and prior to that snafu I had never had a problem either. But I was most pissed about getting the run-around and LIE by the 1st SUPERVISOR, no less! Most of the drinks I get are $1.50 more expensive this year. So the extra $5 covers about 3 drinks at the previous price, unless I wait until the 50% off or BOGO days to spend the GCs.
