This is a smoking deal seeing as I paid full price ($1100) back in August right before a hike-heavy trip to Hawaii (also had a health stipend to use from my work which took the edge off). Best smart watch I've owned, beautiful screen and sensor is maybe +/- a beat compared to a chest strap which is pretty damn good. LED light has come in handy more times than I can count and I love having all the data metrics that Garmin provides. This model can now also do ECG with the most recent software update. If you're looking for a top tier smart watch look no further folks!

51mm is huge. Even 47mm is big for most but manageable. I would have jumped on the 42mm if it was not white.

No doubt good price. But I swear to not buy big bulky watches anymore as I've inadvertently damaged my house by bumping into various things like door frames, anything close by with regular arm swings.

Yes. Older fenix series work too as long as it is the right band width. All of my 6x bands came along for the ride. Lots of cheap options on Amazon.
