Good deal if you need an amp, and some outdoor speakers. The amp alone sells for $699 (or $599 for the rare 1x year sale). Speakers appear to be a re-badge of their Mariner 64s, which go for ~$600 for the pair.

$799 is the lowest I've seen this set go for (has hit it a few times in the past). No idea how long this sale price will last (has been a few days now from what I can see).

Note: these are not the same as the Sonos outdoor architecture speakers. And they do not support TruePlay (no outdoor speakers do).

I've got 2 sets of these for my back yard and pool and love 'em.

I don't always listen to Motörhead, but when I do, so do my neighbors.

A bit off topic but I picked up two sets for this price last year, mostly for the amps. I did mount a set of speakers under a covered deck. I do like the sound. Has anyone tried to landscape-spike these speakers somehow? Also, just as an FYI, you can run two sets of these speakers off the same amp.

This is an ok deal. The speakers are not worth more than $200 by themselves. They sound good but don't expect miracles. I have these speakers from a deal with the old Sonos amp which was 500 or less. I also have this Sonos amp wired to some Niles RS8SI rock speakers I picked up from Amazon warehouse for 300. I know they "retail" for a lot more but Amazon often has deals on these. They sound considerably better. The Sonance are ok, but they were basically free when I purchased the bundle. I would personally recommend finding the amp on a deal by itself then purchasing other outdoor speakers. Def tec, B&W, and Niles audio outdoor speakers all sound better than the Sonance for a little more money. Best Buy Magnolia stores have a lot of these outdoor speakers in stock to listen and compare. I've had these for over 4 years without problem, I just don't think they're worth anywhere near their "retail" price.

Old news dude
Sonos did try to retire older hardware (very old)
But they still support those units to this day
They bifurcated the product line with old and new products and apps to control them
